Dental Health Outreach in Primary Schools

The dental unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Mwea Hospital conducted a three-day outreach programme across primary schools in the Mwea area.

The team provided dental check-ups, basic treatment, and oral health education to pupils, many of whom had never seen a dentist before.

The outreach is part of the hospital’s broader commitment to preventive health education and early intervention, particularly for children in underserved communities.
