ICU Critical Care Nurse

<p>Our Lady of Lourdes Mwea Hospital has constructed a new, modern Intensive Care Unit as part of its infrastructure development programme. We are recruiting Critical Care Nurses to attend to critically ill patients within this recently completed facility.</p><p>The ICU expands the hospital's capacity to deliver life-saving care, and the nursing team works closely with the consulting physician and surgeon to manage complex cases.</p><h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Provide continuous monitoring and care for critically ill patients</li><li>Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other ICU equipment</li><li>Administer critical care medications and intravenous therapies</li><li>Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition</li><li>Support families through the critical illness journey</li></ul><h4>Requirements</h4><ul><li>KRCHN or BScN with critical care training</li><li>Valid Nursing Council of Kenya registration and licence</li><li>At least 2 years of ICU or emergency care experience</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a high-acuity environment</li><li>BLS/ACLS certification preferred</li></ul>
