OLLMH Medical School Facility
The Our Lady of Lourdes Mwea Hospital Medical School facility was constructed as a flagship project under the hospital’s 2009–2013 strategic plan, developed with the support of CRS Kenya (Catholic Relief Services). The plan drew on the organisation’s experience, its key achievements and lessons learnt, and the skills and competencies of its team.
The school stands as a major progress and achievement of the hospital, the Mwea community, and the Kenyan nation at large. Each intake season, an increasing number of qualified candidates apply to train at the school, drawn by its commitment to producing competent, compassionate healthcare professionals.
The facility includes dedicated classrooms, dormitories, and practical training areas, supporting both theory instruction and supervised clinical practice in real healthcare settings.
