A cohort of ICU nurses has completed advanced critical care training, strengthening the hospital's capacity to treat the most seriously ill patients.
A cohort of nurses from the Intensive Care Unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Mwea Hospital has completed an advanced critical care training programme.
The training equips staff with the specialised skills required to monitor and treat critically ill patients, building on the hospital’s earlier investment in the modern ICU facility.
Combined with the new unit, the trained team positions the hospital to deliver a higher level of life-saving care closer to the community it serves.
