The first phase of the Our Lady of Lourdes Mwea Hospital Medical School tuition block is complete and now operational. Work on the remaining part of the building will be finished as soon as possible, providing additional classrooms and study space for the school’s growing student body.
Phase Two will deliver the remaining lecture halls, a library resource centre, and supplementary practical training rooms. The expanded facility will support the increasing number of qualified candidates who apply to train at the school each intake season.
The project is partially funded through donor contributions and the hospital’s self-sustainability revenue. Additional funding is being sought to complete the final construction and furnishing.
