Staff Housing Project

Our Lady of Lourdes Mwea Hospital plans to construct staff housing within the hospital compound to attract and retain qualified healthcare professionals. On-site housing reduces commute times for staff on call and supports recruitment in a rural setting.

The housing project will provide comfortable, secure accommodation for nurses, clinical officers, and other essential staff, particularly those serving in the ICU, maternity, and emergency departments where rapid response is critical.

Investing in staff housing is part of the hospital’s broader human-resource strategy, complementing the Medical School facility and the ongoing recruitment of professional and support staff across departments.
